GES releases outstanding feeding grant for special needs, perishables for SHS

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the outstanding feeding grant for all Special Schools, covering the 3rd Term of the 2024/2025 academic year and the 1st Term of the 2025/2026 academic year.
Additionally, Management has released all outstanding perishables owed to Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) for the period 29th July to 17th October 2025.
“All funds have been successfully transferred into the respective accounts of Special Schools, Senior High Schools, and Senior High Technical Schools nationwide,” GES said in the statement.
The Ghana Education Service has urged Heads of Special Schools, SHS, and SHTS to submit official receipts acknowledging the funds received to the Director-General through their respective Regional Accountants.
“Management counts on the cooperation of all Heads and reiterates its continued commitment to supporting effective teaching, learning, and inclusive education across the country,” it noted.
