Ghana Black Stars to Battle with Madagascar

Ghana Black Stars is set to battle with Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA world Qualifies today at Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Both teams are in Group I with Mali, Chad, Central African Republic and Comoros.

In the qualify round, the winner of the groups get automatic qualifications whiles teams that placed second in the table will be pair for  play-off in order to get qualify.

Ghana and Madagascar has met two consecutive times, Ghana beat Madagascar 2-0 at Cape Coast Sports Stadium and drew with Madagascar at away.

The team is extremely prepared to put their maximum effort to win today’s match in order to stand a chance of the toping the group in order to participate in the 2026 FIFA world.

In their last friendly matches they played against U.S.A and Mexico, they lost it due to worst performance they show up . In today’s game, the team is campaigning for win in order to secure a slot at 2026 FIFA world cup.

Chris Houghton, the Head Coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, speaking ahead of today’s match, disclose that is a must for the team to pick the maximum three points today at Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“The Pressure that I am under as a Coach is to win football matches.

We want to be able to win the football matches and scores a lot of goals and concede none. This is heaven but I can’t always have that.

Despite absent of  some key players who could not make it to the squad due to injury namely Tariq Lamptey, Alexander Djiku,Kalmadeen Sulemana, Joseph Aidoo among others, the team is hoping for win over the Madagascar National Team.
