GNPC Opens 2024 Scholarships Portal For New Applicants
The latest Ghana Education News is that the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation has officially opened the 2024 Scholarships application portal for both undergraduate and Postgraduate applicants. Let’s take a look at how you can apply.
The 2024 GNPC Scholarships Portal, which has been opened, offers Ghanaian students a glorious opportunity to seek full scholarship funding for their tertiary education dreams. With the likes of government scholarships, which are given to people in high authority and their families, as well as NPP party faithful, it will be prudent that the trustees and management of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation do a clean job and uphold ethical values in the selection of applicants for the award of scholarships.
If the scholarships are to be shared among the GNPC family and friends, it will be prudent that, they do not waste the time and effort of Ghanaians who would apply for the scholarships because they need it to make their dreams come true.
Per information available to Ghana Education News, this scholarship opportunity is open to Ghanaian students pursuing Master’s, PhD, or undergraduate degrees at accredited tertiary institutions within Ghana.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be Ghanaian citizens.
- Admission to a postgraduate or undergraduate programme at a recognised tertiary institution in Ghana is required.
- Teachers and lecturers in STEM and TVET fields at technical institutions are eligible. However, Nursing Training Colleges and Colleges of Education are excluded.

- Scanned copy of Admission letter
- Scanned copy of First-degree Certificate
- Scanned copy of other degree certificate (PhD only)
- Scanned copy of transcript
- Curriculum Vitae
- Scanned copy of letters of recommendation (Academic and Occupational)
- Scanned copy of National Service Certificate
- Scanned copy of proof of Nationality (Bio-data page / National I.D. Card)
- Passport picture

Required Documents (Undergraduate)
- Scanned copy of Admission letter
- Scanned copy of WAEC results or Certificate
- Scanned copy of Testimonial from previous school
- Proof of Nationality (Birth Certificate / National Identification Card)
- Passport picture
- Academic transcripts for continuing students
- Previous undergraduate certificate and transcript for applicants pursuing another undergraduate program
It should be noted that;
- Applicants must engage with GNPC Foundation’s social media accounts.
- All applications must be submitted online.
- Hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
- Applicants with disabilities must provide a medical certificate.
- Those already benefiting from educational scholarships are ineligible.
- Accuracy in information provided is crucial, as misrepresentation will result in disqualification and potential legal consequences.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
How To Apply For the GNPC 2024 Scholarships For New Applicants
Visit GNPC’s official website and apply. The website is currently under construction and will be available before 7th May, 2024.
All interested applicants are therefore advised to get all the soft copies of the documents required read as well as any other information they need.
