1. Use the USSD Code (Fastest for Renewals)
This is the most convenient method for those who already have a card and a Ghana Card.
- Dial *929# on any mobile network.
- Select the option for Renewals.
- Enter your NHIS Card Number
- Repeat the entry of the NHIS card number
- Follow the prompts until you are done renewing.
- At the end of a successful renewal, you will receive an information “Invalid(Empty) response”. This information technically means that you have fully registered or renewed for the NHIS card.
- During this promo period, the system will process the renewal at zero cost.
2. Use the ‘myNHIS’ Mobile App
For a more visual experience and to manage family members, the app is the best tool.
- Download the myNHIS app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Log in using your Ghana Card details.
