How To Travel To South Africa After Visa Waiver
Ghana and South Africa have entered into an agreement for a visa waiver regime for holders of ordinary passports. The agreement takes effect from Wednesday, November 1. Let’s take a look at how you can travel to South Africa after the visa waiver.
Currently, there are over 40 Visa-free countries for Ghanaian passport holders.
How To Travel To South Africa After Visa Waiver
1. The only valid requirement to travel to South Africa is your Ghanaian passport, sometimes, a Ghana Card.
2. Once you have your Passport, make sure you have enough money in your account to prove to immigration officers that you could cater for yourself when you visit South Africa.
3. You must also show a prove of your accomodation in the country. People usually book a hotel. Others use the house address of their relatives in such countries

4. Book your flight and proceed to South Africa. Sometimes, you will be required to show some of your medical records, including yellow fever vaccination card.
5. Sometimes, your flight will first land in country that is not a visa-free. All you have to do is to request for a transit visa from such country before booking your flight.
6. Also make sure to book your return ticket as well. You are allowed to stay in South Africa for up to 90 days. You can however apply for extension. This will require a visa fee.
