Job Vacancy For Book Designers

A reputable publishing company is seeking to recruit BOOK DESIGNERS 

Qualification

• Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office suit
• Must be able to design textbooks in InDesign program, very good with Coral and Photoshop software.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

• Should be able to use Adobe InDesign effectively.
• Should be able to use Adobe Photoshop.
• Should understand book layout and how the text flow affects the layout.
• Should be able to touch type not less than 60 words per minute.
• Should have passion for reading and an eye for details.
• Should have more than 1 year working experience on Desktop Publishing. If the candidate is only a Large Format Graphic Designer, then more than 3 years working experience is required.
• Should be willing to work for long hours.

The following candidates will be given higher consideration:

• Candidates who have a fair knowledge or understanding on pre-press printing.
