Job Vacancy For Fitness Trainer (Instructor)

We are an established hotel looking for an experienced and thorough Fitness Trainer who will ensure our fitness department and facilities run effectively and productively.

Job Summary

• The Fitness Trainer will have hands-on supervision of the hotel’s training and fitness facility as well as oversee various processes required for the effectiveness and productivity of our fitness yard.

Qualification Required & Experience

Requirements are as follows:

• Previous work experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role
• Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans according to each client’s needs
• Ability to instruct and motivate people
• Excellent communication skills
• 3 years plus work experience as a Fitness Trainer
• Available to work early or late shifts and on weekends
• Proven experience in CPR and First Aid
• High School Diploma; Training College

Job Description/Requirements

Functions and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Identify the client’s fitness level and health
• Oversee completion of exercise routines
• Track clients’ physical progress
• Modify exercise plans based on needs, potential injuries, or health issues
• Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions
• Adopt a holistic training approach (e.g. cardiovascular exercise, strength)
• Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure clients exercise properly and safely
• Handle nutrition and health-related questions
• Refer to and promote fitness packages and plans
• Maintaining hotel fitness facility
• Keeping an inventory of clients at the fitness yard
• Carry out First Aid and CPR if needed
• Follow safety and hygiene guidelines
