The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is inviting young, passionate Ghanaians to apply for the Prison Officers’ Assistants Module. The module is part of integrated efforts to create employment for the teaming youth of the country.
Eligibility: Who can Apply?
Per the YEA, all Ghanaians between the ages of 18–35 are qualified to apply.
An applicant must have a valid Ghana card at the time of applying.
Applicant must meet the basic medical and physical requirements
All interested applicats for recuritment under the Prison Officers’ Assistants Module must apply on or before the closing deadline of Tuesday, 5th August 2025
How to apply for the Prison Officers’ Assistants Position

- On the portal click on the Prison Officers’ Assistants Module image . This will take you https://apply.yea.gov.gh/client/traditional/registration
- On the next page, click on registration to start the process.
- On this page, enter your bio details correctly.
- Upload your Ghana card (Clearly scanned copy) – This must be front and back
- Provide details as to your residence (Provide accurate data only)
- Check through the ifnormation and correct any errors.
- Go to step two and complete the application process.
According to the YEA, successful applicants will be engaged as benefitiaries of YEA. Successful applicants will be engaged for two (2) years. Visit any YEA District or Regional Office if you require any assistance.
Succesful applicants recruited will work to provide supprt services to the Ghana Prinsons Service. This is expected to make the work of prinson officer not only easy but also increase their efficiency in the delivery of service to inmates among others.
