John Kumah was born on August 4th, 1978. He died on March 7th, 2024. He died at age 45.

John Kumah was a multifaceted Ghanaian figure known for his roles as a politician, entrepreneur, preacher, and lawyer. Born in Ejisu Odaho, Kumah’s upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of service and dedication to his community.

Kumah’s educational journey began at Opoku Ware School in Kumasi, where he laid the foundation for his future pursuits. He furthered his studies at the University of Ghana (Legon), where he delved into the intricacies of law, a field that would become instrumental in his career.

After obtaining his law degree, Kumah continued his academic journey at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and the Ghana School of Law, honing his skills and expertise in legal matters.

His professional journey was marked by a diverse range of experiences. He ventured into entrepreneurship, demonstrating his innovative spirit and commitment to economic empowerment. Kumah’s dedication to fostering entrepreneurship led him to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), where he championed initiatives to support budding entrepreneurs across Ghana.

John was married to Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah who is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Disciple of Christ Ministries Worldwide. They had six (6) biological children and many other foster children

His Death

Tragically, John Ampontuah Kumah’s life was cut short on 7 March 2024. His untimely passing was mourned by many, leaving behind a legacy of service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the betterment of his nation and its people.
