John Ntim Fordjour is Deputy Education Minister Designate
The brouhaha surrounding John Ntim Fordjour’s Deputy Education Minister appointment has been settled. The President of the republic who earlier on denied appointing as Fordjour is Deputy Education Minister has finally named him the deputy minister-designate.
If vetted and approved by the appointment committee, he will serve as the right-hand man of Hon. Dr. Yaw Adutwum at the Education Ministry.
The Assin South Member of Parliament, if approved will replace the immediate past Deputy Education Minister and current Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.
The now minister of education served as the Deputy Minister between 2017 and 2020. Hon John Ntim Fordjour is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science of the University of Ghana.
He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa in 2007.
Although the Deputy Education Minister-Designate is not an educationist, it is hoped the minister will inspire him to deliver on the job if he is given the knod.
