Long Weekend Declares For All Basic Schools In Ghana.
The third week of the second term for all basic school students in Ghana has come to a successful end today and the students have received a message from the various headmasters about the pending long weekend which was declared.
Last week, all basic schools in Ghana received a long-standing weekend following the celebration of the Eid Ul Fitr. Student we’re asked not to come to school on Monday 24th April 2023. This was when the Muslims ended their 30 days of prayer and fasting and crowned the celebration on Monday 24th which calls for the long weekend.
This week, another long weekend has been declared and all basic schools across the country (Ghana) will not go to school on Monday 1st May 2023. According to the report, 1 May is declared as Workers Day, and the need to call for a National Holiday.

As a result of these, worker will honour first May as a holiday and teachers will not go to school and the students will also stay home.
However, all basic schools pupils will go back to school and resume the forth week for the term on Tuesday 2nd may 2023. All parents should take notice of this message.
