Just In: NTC Finally Confirmed Pass Mark For 2023 Licensure

The 2023 teacher licensure pass mark has been confirmed by one of the prominent members of the National Teaching Council NTC. With the introduction of the Ghana Teacher Licensure examination in Ghana, the National Teaching Council which had the mandate to conduct and supervise the teacher licensure exams, made the pass make to be 50%.
The 50% pass mark for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination has been in existence for more than 3 years and newly trained teachers who are about to enter the Teaching field are expected to take their licensure exams and attain the pass mark of 50% before they can be mandated by the National Teaching Council (NTC) to be posted and teach in the various schools across the country.
The 2023 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examinations take a different form altogether. The structure and contents differ from the traditional one which has been in the system for about 3 years. In the traditional setting, the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination is conducted around three main areas, namely, Essential Skills, Numeracy, and Literacy. However, the Ghana Teacher Licensure examination was scheduled around three (3) main courses. The first one promises the traditional one (Essential Skill, Numeracy, and Literacy) named General Professional Knowledge. We also have the second course to be Pedagogy and the final one has to do with the field of specification.
The 2023 teacher Licensure exams began on the 13th of September 2023 and ended on the 15th of September, 2023. Candidates were made aware that the pass mark for the exams is 50% that is the same as the traditional pass mark.
It is therefore a great surprise to the Candidates only to hear from the Public Relation Officer (P.R.0) of the National Teaching Council (NTC) speaking of peace FM that, the pass mark for the 2023 teacher licensure pass mark is 70%. if that is true, then it is a very bad decision from NTC.
If this is true, it will be a very bad decision from ntc and a cheat on candidates.
I wrote three (3) papers and failed one (1) out of the three papers I wrote. Do I qualify to rewrite that one paper again?
