On Monday, December 12, 2022, most of Accra felt a moderate earthquake.
Some of the places that have been affected are East Legon, Lapaz, Adabraka, Gbawe, McCarthy hill, Mallam, Madina, and Kwabenya.
Someone on Twitter said he felt the earth shake.
People say that Ghana has a major earthquake fault line that goes from the McCarthy Hill area of Accra to the Central Region in the west.
The area around McCarthy-Weija is thought to be where the center of the fault line is.
