As part of university safe arrival protocols, official security personnel and police officers will be station at various point on the Campus to assist student in finding their way around. The notice congratulate or freshman on their admission to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, emphasizing the universities commitment to providing quality education.
Activities and dates for the first semester 2023 2024 academic year
1. Arrival : Saturday, January 6 2024
2. Online course registration: Wednesday, January 3, Monday to February 5th, 2024
3. Biometric registration: Saturday, January 6, Monday to February 5th, 2024
4. Residential orientation (hall and hostels): Sunday, January 7th to Friday, January 12, 2024

5. Academic orientation: College, Faculty, department, Tuesday, January 9, Friday to January 13th, 2024
6. Medical examination for all categories of students: Thursday, January 4th to Friday, February 9 2024
7. Lectures start: Monday, January 15th, 2024
8. Matriculation: Tuesday, February 6 2024
9. Matriculation (IDL): Saturday. February 10, 2024

- Students who fell to register within this stipulated period will be automatically deemed deferred
- Students must complete boots online course and biometric registrations to be deemed dually registered t and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology students.
- Students yet to secure accommodation can visit the site kosass.knust.edu.gh to book a room or seek assistance from the Directorate of Students Affairs (DoSA)
- Students/ parents without personal vehicles are advised to board only Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – embossed taxis at Tech-junction
- Virtual orientation for freshmen can be viewed at orientation.knust.edu.gh.live.
