Kofi Kingston Builds Library And Digital Center In His Hometown

Kofi Kingston, former WWE champion has built a library and a digital center in his hometown at Atwimka Takyiman in the Ashanti region.
Kofi Kingston visited Ghana on Friday, October 13, 2023 to launch the CLICK Quality Education Foundation, also known as the Computer Laboratory and Comprehensive Center for Quality Education. This newly opened facility is designed to support secondary schools in Ghana by providing them with efficient, cost-effective computer laboratories and general learning facilities.

Kofi Kingston expressed his excitement in completing this important project on social media. He posted photos from the event showing his passion for promoting education in Ghana. He first announced the study in 2022 and shared the first photos of its development.

Although Kofi Kingston was initially labeled as Jamaican when he first rose to fame in the WWE, his Ghanaian heritage is now widely recognized. He proved his deep connection with his country by visiting Ghana in 2019 after winning the WWE Championship.
Kofi Kingston is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw brand under the ring name Kofi Kingston and is part of The New Day.
After graduating from Boston College, he decided to pursue a professional wrestling career, and began performing on the New England independent circuit as a Jamaican wrestler by the name of Kofi Nahaje Kingston.

After signing a developmental deal with WWE in 2006, he shortened his ring name to Kofi Kingston. He debuted in WWE in 2008 using the same Jamaican character as he did on the independent circuit. In late 2009, he stopped being billed from Jamaica and dropped the accent, although he kept his ring name. He then started being billed from his home country of Ghana.
From 2008 to 2013, Kingston became a four-time Intercontinental Champion, a three-time United States Champion, and a one-time World Tag Team Champion with CM Punk. In 2014, he formed The New Day with Big E and Xavier Woods.
