Several public universities in Ghana have officially opened their admission portal for the 2022/2024 academic year. The deadline for admission is getting closer. Let’s take a look at the current the following university’s admission deadline.

1. University of Education, Winneba

University of Education, Winneba has open their 2023/2024 admission portal. Here are the deadlines.

Regular- Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Distance – 22nd December, 2023

Sandwich – 31st August, 2023

Matured – 22nd October, 2023.

2. Akenten Appiah Menka University of Skills Training And Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED)

AAMUSTED has opened their 2023/2024 admission portal. Applicants can apply through their website . Deadline is as follows

Direct, Postgraduate, Post Diploma- 19th September, 2023.

Matured – 15th August, 2023.

3. Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology

KNUST have opened their admission portal. Admission Forms are on sale. The Sale of E-Voucher for the online Application is open to the following Applicants:

1. WASSCE Holders

2. Advanced Level Holders

3. General Business Certificate Examination Holders

4. Advanced Busines Certificate Examination Holders

5. Mature Students

6. Foreign Applicants including those from French countries.

ALL GHANA POST REGIONAL AND DESIGNATED OFFICES

Application Processing Fee:

GHANAIAN APPLICANTS – GH¢ 250.00.
FOREIGN APPLICANTS – USD 150.00

GHANAIAN APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE THE E-VOUCHER FROM THE GHANA POST OFFICES or dial *447*160# on ALL NETWORKS and follow the prompts.

All completed application forms SHOULD BE SUBMITTED BY POST (EMS/DHL/UPS/FEDEX) TO THE DEPUTY REGISTRAR (ACADEMIC AFFAIRS) KNUST, KUMASI, GHANA ON OR BEFORE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2023.

MATURE APPLICANTS ARE, HOWEVER, REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2023

4. University of Ghana

The University of Ghana announces for the information of the general public, applicants, parents and guardians that applications are open for the admission of prospective applicants into various undergraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year. Applicants should take note of the following:

All prospective applicants are advised to visit the University’s website www.ug.edu.gh and carefully read all relevant information and guidelines for prospective applicants before applying.

All applicants who will be writing WASSCE in 2023 are eligible to apply.

Deadline

University of Ghana online application E-VOUCHERS can be obtained by Ghanaian applicants for GH¢220.00 at the following banks: Access Bank, Ecobank, Republic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Ghana Commercial Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Prudential Bank and Fidelity Bank.

The E-VOUCHERS can also be purchased through the USSD code *887*18# on all mobile telecommunication networks.

5. University of Professional Studies(UPSA) – ACCRA

The University of Professional Studies, Accra invites applications from qualified applicants for admission to its Undergraduate and Diploma programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year

Online Serial Numbers (OSN) for UPSA are available for purchase at the cost of GH¢230.00 for Ghanaian Applicants and US$120.00 for International Applicants at the following sales points:

1. Any Ecobank or Access Bank branch nation-wide
2. Any Ghana Post (Post Office) branch nation-wide
3. By Visa/Master Card/Mobile Money using the link http://interpayafrica.com/custom/upsa

Completion of Online Application Form

All applications must be completed on-line i.e.

• Log on to https://upsasip.com/adm-area
• Use the Online Serial Numbers (OSN) and the receipt number to access the on-line application form.

• Fill in the application form and submit it online

6. University of Development Studies(UDS)

Deadline for their admission is 30th September, 2023.

7. University of Cape Coast(UCC)

Deadlines for the sale of Application E-vouchers and submission of completed online application forms are Friday, 11th August, 2023 and Friday, 18th August, 2023 respectively.
