Madina annual teacher award scheme to be introduced -Hon Sosu
The Madina Constituency will soon have an annual teacher award scheme to award teachers in the constituency for their dedication and hard work. This is the latest project of Hon Francis-Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for Madina.
In an interview on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7, the MP indicated that teachers in the constituency need to be applauded and rewarded for their continued commitment to education.
According to him, the plan to introduce the scheme in the constituency is to further motivate teachers in the area. The scheme is part of efforts to improve the quality of education received by constituents in Madina.
“Teachers are people who really work hard. If you talk about human capital development, you can’t do that without education, and the main anchor of education is our teachers. Usually, teachers are ignored. I look forward to introducing this policy. This will become an enviable award that every teacher would love to win it. I believe that it will introduce a special competition in terms of teaching,” Francis-Xavier Sosu told Kwaku Dawuroon ‘Anopa Nkomo’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7.
