Mason convicted for stealing bags of cement
The Asante Bekwai Circuit Court found a mason guilty of his own plea of stealing cement bags. Cephas Apoyagra, 24, admitted breaking into Mr. Peter Osei’s home to steal 21 bags of cement and was convicted as a result.
Meanwhile, the sentence was postponed until October 20, 2022, by the Court presided over by Mr. Mark Tair-ima Diboro.
According to Police Chief Inspector Christian Amartey, Mr. Osei is building his house in Akwaduo New Site, where Apoyagra lived.
On October 2, 2022, the complainant and his employees stacked 21 cement bags in an unfinished building.
Apoyagra leased a tricycle after the complainant and his coworkers left the convict’s area, according to Chief Inspector Amartey.
The next day, around 07: 00 hours, the complainant and his coworkers arrived at work and discovered that the cement bags had been stolen.

According to the prosecution, the Complainant inquired and was told by a witness in the case that he saw Apoyagra transporting bags of cement from the unfinished building.
According to Chief Inspector Amartey, on October 4, 2022, the complainant apprehended the suspect and turned him over to the police.

He then led police officers to the stolen items.
According to Chief Inspector Amartey, he was arraigned after an investigation.
