National Chiao Tung University Scholarships 2024-2025 are fully funded awards for international students. NCTU International provides scholarships for master’s and undergraduate studies. These scholarships provide NT$21,000 for undergraduates, NT$25,000 for master’s students, and NT$30,000 for doctoral students each month.
National Chiao Tung University provides scholarships for outstanding international students with strong academic and research records to study at the university and promote internationalization. The scholarship is funded through grants and subsidies from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (R.O.C.). In principle, the scholarship is awarded for one academic year, but it can be reapplied for and reviewed on a regular basis based on applicants’ academic performance and research records.

Requirements
To qualify for the NCTU Scholarship, the candidate must meet all the requirements listed below:
- The required language is English.
- Eligible countries include all countries in the world.
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree/transcript (16 years of education) when applying for a Master’s degree.
- Applicants must have their master’s degree/transcript (18 years of education) at the time of application for PhD degree applications.
- Applicants must have outstanding academic records.
- Must have a strong interest in studying or researching in Taiwan.
- Students with extracurricular achievements, community involvement, social responsibility, and leadership skills will be given priority.
- Students must be able to demonstrate their English proficiency skills (an English proficiency letter from your previous institution is acceptable).
