NPP Thugs Granted Bail; Attack Against UTV On Saturday
The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party NPP, Honorable Richard Ahiagbah has finally spoken about the arrest and the bail of a group of thugs who attacked United Television UTV on Saturday, 8th of August 2023. NPP Thugs granted bail.

It has been a public discussion when some alleged members of the New Patriotic Party NPP stormed the premises of United Television (UTV) to cause violence against a Ghanaian musician cum politician named Kwame A-Plus.
The whole issue occurred when Kwame A-Plus considered NPP’s letter to UTV as useless and senseless and tore it into pieces. The group of alleged NPP thugs who visited the station was of the view that the letter was their property and they were demanding their Party’s property from Kwame A-Plus. It will interest you to know that, the issue greatly affects the United Showbiz Program which was held on the 8th of October 2023. Speaking live on one of the vibrant television stations in Ghana named TV3, the director for communication for the New Patriotic Party NPP confirmed that the said NPP thugs on UTV bailed. Ghanaians were not happy to hear about this development from the Ghana Police Service following the release of those thugs. A section of Ghanaians who were watching the program via Facebook flooded TV3’s comment section with a lot of questions on the reasons why those thugs had been released by the Ghana police service. They are expected to be put behind bars for a while and the laws of our motherland must deal with them as it is expected.

What could have happened on the 8th of October at the Premises UTV if those thugs had met Kwame A-Plus at the studio of United Showbiz? The actions of the thugs from the NPP have been condemned by the public. However, it is a question for those NPP thugs granted bail.
