NSA releases first batch of postings for 2025/26 national service year
The management of the National Service Authority (NSA) has released the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 national service year.
In a statement sighted by GhanaEducation.org, the Authority said a total of 85,159 graduates have been posted from accredited tertiary institutions across the country to both public and private sector institutions.
It noted that this initial figure excludes personnel with data mismatches, such as teachers, nurses, and midwives, whose placements will be included in subsequent releases once verification is complete.
The Ghana National Service Authority, in the statement, indicated that a total of 150,937 students initially uploaded their details onto the system, out of which 91,339 paid for the required PIN code.
Of these, 85,459 were verified using their Ghana Cards, and 85,159 completed the full registration process.
Service personnel are expected to check their postings on the Authority’s official website, gnsa.gov.gh, print their appointment letters, and book appointments online for registration at designated Regional Validation and Registration Centres.
The Authority cautioned prospective service personnel against engaging individuals or groups claiming they can influence postings, saying the NSA does not work through middlemen or agents.
“Management wishes to remind all personnel to refrain from engaging the services of scam syndicates for changes in postings and other related issues,” the statement said.
To complete the process, personnel must present their endorsed appointment letters together with their Ghana Cards at the registration centres.
According to the NSA, the regional validation and registration process will begin on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, and end on Friday, November 21, 2025, while the 2025/2026 national service officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025.
The Director-General of the NSA, Ruth Dela Seddoh, congratulated all deployed personnel, encouraging them to embrace the opportunity to contribute to Ghana’s socio-economic development through dedicated national service.
