NSMQ 2023 Semi-Finals: 9 Schools, 3 contests and 3 final slots

The NSMQ 2023 competition has entered the semi-final stage with only the top nine schools. The semi-finals will be held on the 19th of October 2023. In all, there will be three fierce contests, and the winners of each contest will make it to the finals and attempt to win the most wanted trophy and bragging rights for another year.

PRESEC Legon, the defending champions, were the last to make it into the semis after they were given a fierce contest by Accra Academy on 17th October 2023.

What are the three Semi-Final Contest Pairings?

The three contests will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the KNUST Great Hall in Kumasi. The first contest will be between Wesley Girls’ High School, Achimota School, and St. Louis SHS. The second contest will be between Prempeh College, Pope John Minor Seminary SHS, and Opoku Ware SHS. The third contest will be between Presbyterian Boys’ SHS, Legon, Keta SHTS, and Mfantsipim School.

The winners of each contest will advance to the Grand Finale, which will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

The NSMQ is Ghana’s most prestigious academic competition, and the semi-finals are always a thrilling spectacle.

The schools that have qualified for the semi-finals are all among the best in the country, and they will be putting their all into winning a spot in the Grand Finale.
