For the September 2021 Ghana teacher licensing examination, the National Teaching Council (NTC) has issued a schedule. The exam will be held on September 23-24, 2021.
On September 23, 2021, candidates will sit for two papers (Literacy and Essential professional skills) and Numeracy on Friday, September 24, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, according to the GTLE examination timetable sighted by Ghanaeducation.org.

On Monday, August 16, 2021, the Teaching Council opened the GTLE registration portal for graduates from various teacher training schools who intend to take the licensure examination.
“Completed application forms should be received online no later than 8th September 2021. There will be no extension in time for registration beyond the 8th September 2021 deadline,” the Management of NTC stated in the post.

Prior to purchasing the GTLE voucher for 2021, candidates are encouraged to check their confirmation status on the NTC examination registration page to see if they are eligible to sit for a licensing test.

To acquire a voucher for the Ghana teacher licensure examination, applicants can visit any branch of GCB or Prudential Bank in Ghana, or they can simply dial *772*51# to pay via Mobile Money.
