The history between the Ghana Police Service and the Fix The Country Convener, Oliver Barker Vorwamor, is still been created. Today, Oliver Barker has done the unexpected of daring the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare. He dared him while reacting to the decision of the Ghana Police Service to quickly commence investigations into the alleged money doubling scam perpetrated by Evangelist Mama Pat.

This move by Ghana Police Service should have been received by Ghanaians with happiness since this swift move will help speed the process of recovering the monies of the church members who had been allegedly “scammed”.

Oliver Barker Has Dared Dampare Big Time

Oliver Barker dared IGP Dampare to rather investigate the white-collar crimes ongoing in the country and leave this “petty” crime.

“Time for Dampare to flex his muscles. Celebrity IGP nono. I dare you to investigate the white-collar crimes.”, he wrote on his Facebook wall.

This call by Oliver Barker is necessitated by the stalling in the investigations of some crimes that have led to the loss of lives of some great people in the country and have also led to the loss of whooping sums of money.

Background Info: Some members of the Heaven Way Church in Weija have accused their leader, Evangelist Mama Pat, popularly known as ‘Nana Agradaa’, of cleverly deceiving them and running away with their monies. According to the aggrieved congregants, Nana Agradaa had earlier promised to double their monies through her special spiritual endowments. Based on this assurance, the affected worshippers said they were convinced to give her various sums, in expectation of multiplied outcomes.
