Oti Region: Two NDC Parliamentary Aspirants Disqualified After Vetting Process.
The 2024 elections are fast approaching and those who want to secure power are doing their very best to win the hearts of the people who will vote for them in the upcoming elections. The National Democratic Congress NDC has disqualified two of their parliamentary aspirants who seek to contest in the 2024 elections in Krachi West in the Oti Region.
It is rumored that the two individuals were not satisfied with the conditions and reasons for their disqualification and hence they are planning to appeal. Whenever there is a new development on that, we will surely update Ghanaians on that
After filling out the nomination forms, the National Democratic Congress NDC In Karachi West (Oti Region), registered five (5) candidates. The party then gave out the official date for the vetting which was held at Nkwanta in the Oti Region. Out of the five parliamentary aspirants, two of them are males and three (3) of them are females. Per the results of the vetting committee, all the male aspirants have been disqualified from the contest and the Females are going to contest for the Primaries in Karachi West Municipal Assembly.
The two candidates who were disqualified have been identified as Mr. Kenneth Gyimah and Mr. Nyamah Micheal. According to the report we have gathered, Mr. Kenneth Gyimah famously known as Abedi was disqualified because he is a new member of the party and he has not attained reasonable years to be able to contest for any elections within the party as from the demands from the Party’s constitution.
Henceforth, those who are going to compete at the NDC’s primaries are Madam Nnemele Magdalene, Madam Esther, and Honorable Madam Helen Adwoa Ntoso The Incumbent Member of Parliament for Krachi West
