Over 20 Teachers Queried Over Failure To Attend District Director’s Thanks Giving Service

Over 20 teachers in Ablekuma West district have been queried over failure to attend thanksgiving service at the invitation of the district education director.

According the some teachers in the constituency, the director has been infringing on their rights in several ways for the past years.

The query form indicated that the teachers failed to close down their classes and attend the thanksgiving service as they were instructed to.

“Directive was given for schools to close down at 12:30 noon on the 12th October, 2023 to enable you to attend the Ablekuma West Education Directorate’s maiden thanksgiving service. Explain why you should not be queried for refusal to attend. Serve D.D Supervision, SISO and your Headteacher copies by close of Monday 16th October, 2023.”

Office: Explain why u refused to honor director’s invitation to the thanksgiving service. It does not form part of both curricular and co curricular activities and moreover i use my time judiciously not to sit on someone’s thanksgiving service which may not add 1 point to my GDP or increase my salary to a pesewa.
