Host of Good Evening Ghana show on Metro TV, Paul Adom Otchere, who doubles as the Board Chairman of Ghana Airport Company ltd has finally reacted to some news reportage of him building a mansion in Teshie in just six months in office as Board Chairman Of Ghana Airport Company.
Speaking on Good Evening Ghana show on Metro TV, Paul Adom Otchere admitted that such mansion is his. He however added that the building was not constructed in six months as reported by some social media commentators. According to him, he has been in such building since December, 2012.
He added that he has been living in such mansion for the past ten years. He sent a word of caution to the social media commentators who want to tarnish his image. Paul Adom Otchere believes that one has the right to speak his mind on social media but has no right to go against the laws of the country. For this reason, Paul Adom Otchere has promised to sue anyone who spreads false information about him.
“A lot of you have seen the story. The truth of the matter is that the story is not true. Some of these people, they think we are like them. They don’t understand what we do that it is a service and occupation. It is not a business. They sit online and insult people all day, so that they can get attention. This is not what we do. We are called into the service, into career and occupation for which we are prepared.”
“The building they are talking about, I was living there in 2012. I have been living in that house for ten years and people say I bought the house in six month. I have been staying there for 10 years, since 2012. I was staying there when I was told that Professor Mills has passed away.”
After making such statement, Paul Adom Otchere revealed that he will sue one ‘Kwadwo Dynamic” on Twitter for making such false story. He believes that people try to tarnish the image of popular personalities in order for them to shine. He added that there is nothing wrong if you insult people but crossing the law with such comments is an offence.
