“I always said that the Ballon d’Or had to be two sections. One for Messi and one for the others. Haaland should win yes or yes. We won the treble, he scored a million goals. I’d love Erling to win. But Messi… Leo won the World Cup!”. He said 

The eagerly anticipated Ballon d’Or award ceremony is scheduled for October 30, 2023. Football enthusiasts are keen to hear the perspectives of coaches and players on who should claim this prestigious accolade in 2023.

However, various reports claim that Inter Miami star will beat Erling Haaland to 2023 award and get one over on Cristiano Ronaldo with another unique record.

Lionel Messi has reportedly already been crowned as the 2023 Ballon d’Or winner, with the Argentine setting another record in the process. This means Lionel Messi will win his eighth Ballon D’or on 30th October, 2023. Haaland is reportedly number two on the list after winning massively with his club team. However, he wasn’t in the world cup to showcase his talents.
