Police Storms Students Of Commonwealth Hall Of The University Of Ghana, Legon As They Observe A Vigil Night
The Ghana Police Service (GPS) stormed members of the notable Commonwealth hall whiles they observe a vigil for their late Vandal mate, James at the Volta hall.
It was earlier reported that, members of the Commonwealth hall known as Vandals will indulge in a vigil night for their late fellow Vandal, James Lutterodt, a 2021 NSMQ ‘guru’ for Keta Senior Technical School who passed away on Monday.
The vigil started calmly at 6pm at the diaspora(UGEL) hostels at the University of Ghana. They then proceeded to Volta hall to observe the vigil also and encountered the police.
The vigil night is associated with the traditions of the hall. It was reported that some Vandals were arrested and some were injured severely.
The unfortunate incident happened when they got to the Volta hall to continue with the tradition. It was all said to be calm until the Ghana Police started engaging them with shockers and canes.

It was stated by some members of the UGEL hostels that these Vandals came there to observe the vigil peacefully and did not engage in any riots whiles at the diaspora so why then will the Ghana Police attack them when they got to the Volta Hall?

The unfortunate incident which happened at the Volta hall made some students took to the heel and hid in bushes for their safety. Some were beaten severely as shown above with images.

Per an audio sighted by Ghanaeducation.org, a fellow member of the Volta Hall narrated what actually caused this. She stated it clearly that these Vandals were having a peaceful vigil in honour of their fellow late Vandal mate, James Lutterodt and all of a sudden the Police stormed them with guns and shockers and started beating them up.
