REGISTRATION OF TEMPORARY TEACHER LICENSE FOR NON-PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS WORKSHOP
The National Council of Private School Teachers (NCOPST) was invited by the National Teaching Council (NTC) for stakeholders’ meeting on Monday 22nd August 2022 to discuss the registration and licensing of non-professional teachers in Ghana
NCOPST, as the mother association for teachers in the private sector, was given the mandate to educate and assist private school non-professional teachers to register and acquire teacher license
NCOPST aims at seeking the welfare of Private School Teachers and so will advise all teachers in private schools to make sure they pay for their license fee to enable them to have full control over their license. Due to this, we urge all private school teachers to register and attend the workshop organized by NCOPST to enable them to get a temporary teacher licence
Note that, if you allow your school to pay for the temporary license for you, the school will not allow you to be employed by a different school. I repeat, do not allow your school pay for the license fee for you.
The license fee is Ghc100 and NTC will train you for 5 weeks. The 5 weeks of training cost Ghc150. You will have 2 weeks of online training, 2 weeks of face-to-face training, and 1 week for examination. Kindly attend this workshop to get the needed education so that you can register for the temporary teacher license

Come along with the following requirements. Requirements for the registration of the temporary teacher license are
1. Your teaching appointment letter
2. SSNIT number
3. Certificate (BECE/JSS, NVTI, NNTTC, A or O level, diploma, degree, MPhil, master etc). Kindly scan it
4. Smart phone or laptop
5. Valid email address
If you do not have an appointment letter or any of the requirements, do not worry just come to the workshop and we will assist you
