Qualified suffering teachers and nurses deserve postings in 2025

Enough is enough! Qualified suffering teachers and nurses deserve postings in 2025.
It is so sad to put on record that there are graduate-qualified teachers, nurses, and other trained teachers from colleges of education who have remained unemployed for only God knows.
Under the just-axed NPP government, many graduate teachers were manipulated by the Ghana Education Service (GES) led by Dr. Eric Nkansah. Teachers were directed to apply for posting; others were taken through the newly introduced self-posting.
However, graduate teachers posted are not known to date, and those who claimed to have been posted have publicly indicated on the GES Facebook page that they had to pay their way through.
Our teachers and nurses deserve postings in 2025. The victory of John Mahama is like a redemptive hand of God to alter the situation of our nurses and teachers who are waiting patiently to be posted under the NDC government.
Nurses and teachers cannot stand any form of disappointment from the John Mahama-led government. All teachers and nurses are waiting to see the finance, health, and education ministries get their ministers vetted and approved so work can begin on their recruitment, posting, and deployment into schools and health facilities in the country where their services are needed.
There are nurses as well who are ready to work but they have not been posted due to several reasons that teachers will relate to, such as the absence of clearance from the ministry of finance. This is one of the reasosn why even after the GES announced the release of postings, some applicants have had “Pending for Consideration” status on their recruitment portal dashboard till now.
Our education and health sectors are losing great and well-trained teachers and nurses to the developed countries as a result of Ghana’s inability to employ them after they have graduated. Staying home for several years without jobs is very frustrating, to say the least.
Being forced or compelled to pay others to get hired to serve the country as a nurse or teacher is also very bad and deheartening.
Today, many graduate teachers have been forced to find jobs and side hustles that do not match their training and profession to be able to make some money to keep body and soul together.
There are nurses in classrooms as pupil teachers today, and there are trained teachers working as Uber, Yango, and bilt drivers. This is how, as a nation, we have decided to waste the efforts, training, and talents of the youth of this nation.
While paying someone before you get employed in a public service is wrong, it will even be better to pay the same amount to a travel agency like Sikobs to help you travel abroad to work as a nurse or a teacher and pay later.
If you are a trained or professional teacher or a nurse, Google SIKOBS travel and tour and contact them. You will be glad you did. They offer a 10-90, 50-50 and 30-70 travel offer with jobs and work permits, etc.
The 10-90 option simply means paying 10% of the cost of travel and getting support to travel, which includes a job, work permit, accommodation for two months and an air ticket. Once you start work, you pay the remianing over aperiod of time per the aggrement you reach with SIKOBS. If you understand the above, then you should also understand the others, such as the 50-50 and 30-70 offers.
Teachers and nurses from Ghana are in high demand in many countries and if the new government fails to employ the many out there in all kinds of mismatching jobs compared to their training and professions, they will continue to exit and chase greener pastures in the development world.
