The project has garnered attention and support from local dignitaries, including the deputy Minister for Arts and Tourism, who seized the opportunity to encourage Ja Rule to advocate for Ghana’s “Beyond the Return” campaign upon his return to the U.S.
This partnership not only focuses on building physical structures but also on fostering a deeper connection between Ghana and its diaspora.
Pencils of Promise’s CEO detailed the project’s scope and timeline, with plans to include washroom facilities alongside the classroom block, aiming for completion within the year.
