Reopening and vacation dates for SHS 1,2,3 tracks – GES

Reopening dates for SHS3, Gold track, and Green Track SHS2, SHS1, and Single track schools.
The GES has released the official reopening dates for SHS3, Gold track, and Green Track SHS2, SHS1, and Single track schools.
The news reopening and vacation dates were contained in a letter dated 26th April 2021 and signed by Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, Deputy Director-General on behalf of the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service.
Reopening dates for SHS students -All Tracks
Per the GES letter sighted by Ghanaeducation.org, the education service indicates that:
SHS3 students are to report to school on the 5th of May 2021
SHS3 single track school students are to report to school on the 5th of May 2021
SHS2 Green Track students are reopening school on 1st June 2021

SHS2 Gold track students are vacating on 29th May 2021
SHS2 Single Track school students will bring their semester to a close on 1st June 2021
SHS1 Single Track school students will bring their semester to a close on 16th July 2021
SHS1 Single Track students will bring their semester to a close on 15th June 2021
SHS1 Green Track students are also to vacate on 15th June 2021
SHS1 Gold Track students are also to vacate on 4th May 2021
The director directed all schools to communicate the new vacation and reopening dates to parents, as well as all Heads of Senior High School.
The new dates supersede any earlier dates communicated to stakeholders by the GES.
