SAD: Father Of Late Aburi Girls Student Makes Shocking Revelation
Aburi Girls Senior High School (SHS) administration cannot be excused, according to Kingsley Okyere, the father of a first-year girl who passed away after expressing abdominal discomfort. The father, Mr. Okyere, is suing the school, claiming that their carelessness caused his daughter, Stacy, who was sixteen years old and had no preexisting medical conditions, to die. His research has shown that his daughter went into sickness at noon, he claims.
“Regrettably, the family remained in the dark till that evening. My kid was murdered at school. My daughter’s housemistress called me around 8 o’clock on Sunday, February 4th. My daughter was sick, and she wanted me to take her to the hospital. I chose to go even though I thought it was too late. The woman called me nearly every two minutes as I was on my way. In an interview with TV3 in Accra, he described how he was furious because he thought she should have taken his daughter to the emergency room before contacting him. According to the worried parent, he hurried to the school but encountered an unexpected and terrible scene. When I arrived at the school, the housemistress and her classmates had discovered my daughter to be comatose on the floor. Screaming and weeping ensued from my wife.”

The bereaved father spoke of his amazement and how seeing his daughter had an overwhelming effect on him. Tragically, Stacy was declared dead at the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital, despite Mr. Okyere’s resolute efforts to preserve his daughter.”I was informed she was brought in dead when we arrived at the hospital,” he added, his voice quivering with emotion. In addition to threatening legal action against the school, the parent has voiced grave concerns about the safety of the youngsters and is calling for an impartial investigation into the situation. “If they are unable to transport my sick child to the hospital, I do not understand why they obtained her health insurance. “If I had been in Bole-Bamboi, would they have waited for me to arrive at the school?” he said. Stacy, who had been residing at Edinburgh House, reportedly started classes at the institution approximately one month ago. Five days after the incident was reported in the media, the school administration still has not commented on the matter. The body is currently in police custody, awaiting an autopsy. Africa Education Watch (Eduwatch), an advocacy group, has demanded that the Ghana Education Service (GES) address the issue to put a stop to it.
