President Akufo-Addo has been criticized because he is said to have given a Toyota V8 that moves his chair around the country as a gift.

The White House says that the President takes his own chair with him for security reasons.

But some people say that the President is wasting money on expensive convoys across the country with a Toyota V8 that is only used to carry his seat when Ghanaian workers are facing impossible problems.

National Communications Officer of the last opposition NDC, Sammy Gyamfi, criticized the President for this action and said, “for a special car, Lexus, to move his chair, and when you criticize him, he will say, “If you don’t vote for me, I don’t care.” What if it’s Tundra? Would that be okay if it was Mahama?”

“There’s also Samira Bawumia. Did you know that her entourage includes a brand-new Landcruiser with a makeup artist in it? It goes everywhere with her. “The taxpayer is paying for that,” he said on Neat FM’s Me Man Nti show.
