LETTER OF RESIGNATION

A letter of resignation is one written by a staff who is terminating his or her appointment with a company. Once the letter is written, submitted, and approved by the receiving officer on behalf of the company, the employee-employer relationship terminates and the rights and responsibilities of both parties come to an end unless there are outstanding issues or benefits that must be provided. However, the official employer and employee relation no longer exist.
