Full Story: Sark passed Shatta Wale’s back to collect GHC120k from a Glo deal for a $150,000: Why Shatta constantly attacks Sarkodie
Self-acclaimed Ghanaian Dance Hall King, Shatta Wale has revealed why he has been attacking his colleague musician Sarkodie over the last four years. According to Shataa Wale, they were entering a deal with Glo and so they both agreed that Glo would have to pay them $150,000.
However, without his knowledge, Sarkodie visited Glo three days after their last discussion on the deal and solely went for a peanut of Ghs120,000.
Shatta Wala further disclosed that his investigation and information from reliable Nigerian Artists who had entered into deals with Glo to come to Ghana were paid between $70,000 and $90,000.
The Ghs120,000 Sarkodia settled on alone for the deal is estimated at about $11,000 in today’s dollar rate

Shatta Wale has stated why he’s constantly attacking Sarkodie. According to him, Sark passed his back to collect GHC120,000 from a Glo deal after initially agreeing with him they would charge $150,000.
Reacting to the question about the Glo deal in an interview on Twitter Space, Shatta stated that, he was called and informed that he and Sarkodie were to be on a 3-day Glo Show. He decided to call Sarkodie since he saw Sark as a brother so they could make some money together. After the discussion with Sark. He revealed that he got a call 72 hours after their discussion. He was informed that Sarkodie has visited the organizers and has received GHS120,000 for the show.

The move by Sarkodie was the genesis of the beef between Shatta Wale and Sarkodie which has lasted for not less than 5 years.
Sarkodie is yet to respond to the allegations leveled against him by Shatta Wale on the Glo deal.
