Scholarship needed for 2 brilliant 2023 WASSCE girls (17 & 18 years) in UG and UEW need scholarship or stop university education

Scholarship needed Two (2) brilliant 2023 WASSCE girls aged 17 & 18 years who just gained admission into UG and UEW need scholarship or stop university dreaming of university education.
Imagine two bright young women, brimming with potential and dreams of enriching their communities, standing on the precipice of losing everything they’ve strived for. This isn’t fiction, it’s the harsh reality facing the 2023 WASSCE graduate who, a 17-year-old Nursing student at the University of Ghana, Legon, and and an 18-year-old Clothing and Textiles Education student at the University of Education, Winneba.
Their futures, once sparkling with promise, are now clouded by the chilling specter of financial hardship. Their kind benefactor, a teacher of the Anlo Senior High School who has poured his heart and resources into supporting their education, can no longer shoulder the burden alone.
The threat of dropping out from their universities looms large right after enrolling, a cruel twist of fate for students who defied the odds to excel in their 2023 WASSCE exams with 4 As and 4 Bs, and 3 As, 3 Bs, and a C4 respectively.
Below are the results of their two girls.
This isn’t just about two individual struggles; it’s about shattered dreams and unfulfilled potential if no one or corporate entity comes in to provide the needed financial support for their fees among others. It’s about silencing voices that could transform communities. At Ghana Education News, we understand the inherent challenges faced by these young women in education, particularly in STEM and traditionally male-dominated fields like Nursing and Textiles. We celebrate these girls’ achievements as victories against systemic inequalities, and their potential loss is a blow to the cause of gender equality in education.
