Schools end final 2025 BECE Mock examinations across the country

The team lead at Education-News Consult, Mr. Wisdom Hammond, has disclosed that ‘Any 2025 BECE candidates or parents looking for Apor are not ready for the BECE.’ He made this revelation public in Accra during an interaction with students of Christ King School. According to him, the calls, emails, SMS, and WhatsApp messages from students and parents looking to buy leaked papers and questions are alarming.
‘Even at dawn and late at night, between 9 pm and 12 am, students and parents call for such services, which the consult does not provide,’ he stated. ‘What is even more worrying is that some students and parents call to buy ‘super mock’ or ‘final mock’ papers that their schools have sourced from the consult,’ he indicated.
At the pre-mock conference organised by the school over the weekend, the education consultant urged learners to keep their focus and disbelieve the assertion that they can only pass the BECE if they get undue advantage and access to the BECE questions.
‘It is alarming because if learners are chasing after Education-News Consult Mocks, Best Brain Mocks, and other district mocks simply because their schools are writing that particular mock, it means that our learners getting ready for the BECE are not actually prepared. Prepared students who are working towards the BECE should not be looking for mock questions that are supposed to be trial test examinations for them.’
The pre-mock conference is a special interaction between examiners and Education-News Consult officers during which important BECE issues and strategies are discussed with learners and their teachers. This aims to condition the minds of learners and help them know how they can answer questions and perform well in the BECE without engaging in any form of illegality.
The leadership of Christ King School thanked the team from the consult for engaging the learners and enlightening them on the BECE.”

The 2025 BECE, which starts on 11th June, 2025, will be the second examination to be administered by WAEC under the new curriculum. Students and teachers have therefore been called upon to take proactive steps to educate their learners on the dangers of engaging in any form of examination malpractice.
