Shameful Nigerians & South Africans Celebrate Ghana’s 3-2 loss to Portugal

Weak Nigerians and South Africans gang up to celebrate over robbed Ghana after a 3-2 loss to Portugal. It is obvious that the two countries are in serious pain after Ghana showed class, eliminated them in the qualifies, and further showed class at the world cup.

It is common knowledge that weak African teams like Bafana-Bafana of South Africa and the Eagle of Nigeria are sad. They were beaten by a better team called the Ghana Black Stars, and they have not forgotten yet.

Nigerians and South Africans ganging up to jubilate Ghana’s loss to Portugal at the FIFA World Cup is purely an African problem of weakness. It shows that even at the World cup, African countries are envious of others who have beaten them to qualify.

Nigeria is so irritated because they missed an opportunity to be at the World Cup and to represent Africa. They drew 0-0 in the first leg of the final two playoff matches only to be silenced by the Black Stars far away in Nigeria by an away goal rule after a 1-1 drawn game.

South Africa, on the other hand, has been bitter since they were beaten by the Black Stars by a goal to nil in the final group game to go to the top of the table and book one of the ten tickets for the knock-out stage on the African continent.

South Africa contested a penalty which day contested by writing to the CAF, but the request was looked into and turned down for legitimate reasons.

During Portugal vs Ghana match, a controversial penalty was awarded without checking the VAR even when the Black Stars requested for it. Atto Addo, Ghana’s coach responded with the right words after the match.

“The referee gave a penalty which was not a penalty. Everyone saw that. Why? Because it’s Ronaldo or something?” “If somebody scores a goal, congratulations. But this was really a gift. A special gift from the referee.” He said.

Nigerians and South Africans showing high levels of pain everywhere…One would have thought that Africa will mature and that Nigerians and South Africans will rally around African countries that have made it to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Unfortunately, they are supporting other nations outside the African continent against their own people.

This is Africa for you. We lack integrity when in all unity in everything we need.

All we want is the downfall of other African countries just because they are better than Ghana’s Black Stars.

The Black Stars of Ghana showed quality at the 2022 FIFA World Cup when they played Portugal.

Ghana played excellent football but was robbed on the day by the wrong decisions of the U.S. referee Ismail Elfath, who would use no assistance from the VAR on the world stage.

Top football pundits who think critically, did a great analysis of the situation, and who are not Africans have analysed what transpired in that encounter between Ghana and Portugal, and have concluded without any shadow of a doubt that Ghana was robbed at the FIFA World Cup FIFA.

Weak Nigerians and South Africans are just losers with no shame.

Africa must rise against such actions by its referees and other officials on the world stage with a common voice and ensure that the right things are done.

Africa must rise against all forms of negativity and support other African countries no matter what when we reach the World Cup.

In the coming years, Africa should begin to consider the need to boycott the next FIFA World Cup as a form of protest against ill-treatment meted out to African teams in an attempt to make them lose genuine contests.

On the day when Ghana played Portugal, Ghana played better and showed resilience. Ghana showed that the Black Stars are better than weak Nigerian and South African national teams.

Ghana showed that they were the best team compared to Nigeria and South Africa to be at the 2022 FIFA World Cup for Africa.

One would have thought that having lost 4-0 to Portugal in a friendly world cup match and being bitten by Ghana on the away goal rule after, Nigeria will gracefully give maximum respect to the team that silence them in their own backyard and picked the soul tickets from their final match and give maximum support to Ghana and Africa in general.

South Africa and Nigeria are not better than Ghana’s Black Stars, which is why they are bitter. They cannot overcome the Ghanaian spirit by trolling the Black Stars on Twitter. The Black Stars are coming back strongly as a united team with depth and quality, a proud African country, the Brazilians of African football and to show the world in the last two matches what we are made of.
