SHS1 Gold track reopening dates for students simplified

Whiles the SHS1 Gold track reopening dates for students remains a worry for students and has also made them restless. Students continue to ask for clarifications to get their simple questions answered.

When are SHS1 Gold track students going back to school for the next semester? They ask… While the students continue to ask these questions; we attempt to provide some answers.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) in its latest update for students, teachers, parents, and the general public on May 27th, 2021 showed that the SHS1 Gold track reopening dates for students are as follows.

For students in second cycle schools with double-track running for SHS1 and SHS2, their reopening date for the next semester per the GES is 1st August 2021.

SHS1 students in SHSs running double track for only SHS2 students will have their SHS1 students reporting to school on 15th September 2021.

Finally, SHS1 students in second-cycle institutions in single-track schools are expected to report to school on 13th August 2021.
