According to a local media report, the Deputy Minister of Education in Charge of Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Prof Kingsley Nyarko has been arrested by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
In a latest Ghana Education News , it is recognized that the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical, Vocational Education and Training ( TVET), has been arrested by the Special Prosecutor of Ghana.
As sighted by thisterm.com, the report stated that the office of the Special Prosecutor has begun an investigation into the Alleged corrupt moves by Prof. Kingsley Nyarko.
Kingsley Nyarko also holds the Position of an MP in Kwadaso. It is alleged that the MP was involved in election malpractices during the Ejisu by-election plus some temporary staff of the Electoral Commission.
“The Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Professor Kingsley Nyarko, has been involved in a situation that has led to his arrest by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP)
The OSP has begun inquiries into alleged corruption related to a public election involving the Kwadaso MP and some temporary Election Commission (EC) staff during the Ejisu by-election,” the news report stated.
The Current President of Ghana , Nana Akufo-Addo, appointed Prof. Kingsley Nyarko as Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) after the President’s dismissal of Gifty Twum-Ampofo early this year.
In compliance with Ghana’s article 78, 79, and 256 of the Constitution, Nana Akufo-Addo has submitted new names for appointment as Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State to Parliament for approval before the reorganisation.

Who is Kingsley Nyarko?
Kingsley Nyarko, who holds the title of a professor, is a Ghanaian politician and current Deputy Minister of Education in charge of TVET.
He is also the Member of Parliament for Kwadaso Constituency, a constituency located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Furthermore, he is Ghana’s National Accreditation Board (NAB) Secretary and a core member of the National Patriotic Party AKA NPP.
Politician Kingsley Nyarko is a Obo Kwaku breed, a town in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
June 10, 1973 is the date he was born. He became a certified tutor in 1995, ordinary level, in 1992. He advanced his certification in 1992 and made a common entry in the year 1986.
Kingsley Nyarko holds a Ph.D in Educational Psychology, a postgraduate degree in educational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Kingsley Nyarko in his early career life was the headmaster for Mile 18 Junior High School.
he was also a teacher at Ejisuman Senior High School in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

he then served as executive director at the Danquah Institute. In University of Ghana, he held the position of a senior lecturer.
