Spend wisely this festive season for January is an ugly month of pain
Spend wisely this festive season, for January is an ugly month of pain after Christmas and New year excitements. Salaries of most workers have been paid already and many have also started spending. Unfortunately, most employers do not offer employees the 13th month salary to cushion their workers.
Spend wisely this festive season
Extravagant spending, over spending, spending without strategizing and impulse spending will all lead to one big problem and that is, you will run out of cash and begin to feel the lessons of failing to save towards January.
Strangely, the month of January looks more like a month with 60 days, which move slowly each day.
While we all need to enjoy the festive season, it will be prudent to save some money untouched in your bank or somewhere else for your use from January 15th 2023.
Do not make a mistake of giving your savings you intend to live on from 15th January 2023 to a friend, family member or someone else to keep for you. If you have a bank account, please keep it there because if the one keeping your savings is not disciplined, he or she may start spending your money and even create more financial and relationship problems for you.
Parents whose wards will be going back to school in January must also be extra careful with spending without planning how to take care of their ward’s fees in the coming weeks from January 9th 2023.
Parents will not only be paying fees but will be buying books as well since the academic year starts in January.
Now that you still have some funds on you, do well to think through your spending habits and cut out all unplanned expenses are practical and possible.
You will have yourself to blame when January 2023 shows you its true colours when you are financially handicapped.
