Stop Registering JHS 2 And JHS 1 Students For BECE – GES Warns Schools
The Ghana Education Service has issued a stern warning to all basic schools, both private and public school over illegal BECE registration.
According to the Ghana Education Service, some heads of schools register some candidates from JHS 1 and JHS 2 students for the BECE. This means they tend to skip the students for form three(3) lessons.
Some believe that no matter the aggregate they get from the BECE, they will eventually get a school at the secondary level.
According to the Ghana Education, any school that is caught in this act will face the wrath of the law. Such students will also be punished severally. GES ensures fairness at all levels of education. Any student that wish to write the BECE must pass through JHS 1, 2 and 3.

- Register students who are not in final year or are not bona fide students of the school in question.
