Very soon, the 2023 School Placement will be released. Some BECE graduates are likely not to be placed and may have to use the self Placement module. Furthermore, there are some categories of BECE graduates who WILL NOT be placed at all.

Yes, that is the bitter truth this article seeks to make known.

Categories of BECE graduates who WILL NOT be placed during the 2023 School Placement

To all the BECE candidates waiting for CSSPS to release the placement, take note of the following possibilities and be certain that not all students will be placed. Below are the category of students who will miss the school placement

Candidates with withheld results:

If you know any of your subjects is withheld, you will not be placed into any school.

Those whose results are pending at the time the school placements are will also miss the opportunity, just as those whose results have been cancelled.

Candidates with grade 9 in specific subjects:

If a candidate obtained grade 9 in English or Maths or both, he or she will not be in placed into any of the six schools selected.

Again, there is a high possibility that only candidates with Single Digits Grades will be placed in the Top 20 Category A schools in Ghana.

Candidates with grades between aggregate 14 are not likely to get placed in “better” schools.

It is important that BECE graduates and their parents check their school placements early.

If you check early, and you have not been placed, but you have the option to use the self-placement module, take advantage of it as soon as possible.

This is because, the more you delay checking, or doing the self-placement, the more the good schools in the self-placement database get picked by other candidates.
