Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will release the 2024/2025 admissions on Wednesday, 8th January 2025, per the latest update by the admissions office.
According to the release, the admission lists of all successful applicants will be released after the school has completed entrance examinations and interviews for programmes that demand it.
It furthered that on Monday, 6th January–Tuesday, 7th January 2025, it will carry out all examinations and interviews of applicants for selected schools/faculties.

The much-anticipated release of the admission list for successful first-year undergraduate students will take place on Wednesday, 8th January 2025. The release of the 2024-2025 admission lists on 8th January 2025 will ensure that sucessful applicants receive their admission status via SMS and visit the school portal to print their admission letters and go through the laid-down admission processes of the university.
Following this, a Virtual Orientation session is scheduled for Friday, 10th January 2025, designed to acquaint new students with essential academic resources, campus culture, and available support systems. First-year students will officially begin their academic journey as they report for re-opening on Tuesday, 14th January 2025.
From Wednesday, 15th to Saturday, 18th January 2025, freshers will engage in a comprehensive orientation program, providing hands-on guidance to help them transition smoothly into university life. Lectures for the semester are set to commence on Monday, 20th January 2025, marking the start of an exciting chapter in the students’ academic pursuits. First-year students are encouraged to utilize these preparatory activities to build a strong foundation for their studies and personal growth.
The KNUST is to release 2024-2025 admission on January 8th, all students who applied for admission should keep the date in mind.
