Ghana can boast of having the best senior high schools in West Africa. Each year, WAEC ranks senior high schools based on their performances at the WASSCE. Currently, WAEC has released the list of best performing Senior High Schools (SHS) in Ghana.

Contrary to popular expectations, renowned institutions such as Presec Legon, Achimota SHS, and Prempeh College surprisingly did not secure positions within the top ten.
