Tepa College of Education is set to fully operate as a new college of education in 2024. The college, whose name is Adusei Atwenewa Ampem College of Education was allowed to operate as a full public tertiary education institution in Ghana from January 1, 2024 by GTEC.

The approval, given during the 10th meeting of the GTEC Board on March 14, 2023, allows the college to operate as a full public tertiary education institution in Ghana from January 1, 2024. This is a remarkable achievement for the local community, signaling progress in education accessibility.
