On February 6th, 2024, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II hosted an event to launch a book called “History of Ashanti.” The book was written by Otumfuo Sir Osei Agyeman Prempeh II.
The event was important because it was also a symposium about the 150th anniversary of the Sargrenti War. I am thankful to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for letting me launch this great book.
The book called “History of Ashanti” explains the rich history and culture of Ashanti Kingdom. This explains the complicated history, customs, and important events that have shaped the Ashantis over the years. It also teaches about being committed and proud of your country.
This is a story about a kingdom that has been around for a long time. I want other authors of children’s books to make it easier for kids to read, so they can learn more about the Ashanti Kingdom.
