1. National Science and Maths Quiz
The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is the most popular quiz competition in Ghana. It is an annual science and mathematics content-based national level quiz competition for senior high schools in Ghana. It has been produced by Primetime Limited, an education-interest advertising and public relations agency, since 1993.
The primary goal of the National Science & Maths Quiz is to encourage the exploration of sciences and mathematics, fostering the development of students’ rapid thinking, a curious and scientific approach towards the world, and nurturing healthy academic competition among senior high schools.
2. Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC)
The TBSC is a tertiary business schools quiz organised by the Graphic Communications Group Limited’s (GCGL) Graphic Business, in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), to encourage intellectual development among students in various tertiary institutions across the country.
The purpose of this quiz is to serve as a fertile ground for nurturing students’ and small business owners’ interest in business issues and entrepreneurship in general.
It also provides the contestants with the opportunity to demonstrate their intellectual prowess which could earn their schools verified bragging rights.

3. The Sharks Quiz
The Sharks Quiz is a single-elimination academic team competition open to all junior and senior high school students in Ghana. The Sharks Quiz is an exciting all-round competition for high schools in Ghana. The competition focuses on the four core competencies: Literacy, Numeracy, STEM and Social Literacy.
4. The Spelling Bee
The Spelling Bee is a literacy programme that teaches primary children between ages 7 and 13, how to improve their spelling, increase their vocabulary, learn and understand word concepts and develop English usage which will help them all their lives. The Spelling Bee is affiliated to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in the USA. It is conducted in Ghana each year

5. National Accounting and Business Quiz
This is an annual competition between Senior High School business students. It is the fifth most popular quiz competition in Ghana. Kafui Danku of GTV Ghana is the host of the programme. The competition has several sponsors including Aseda Bakery, Akpani Enterprise and many more
